Ed Easley - Owner

Bio

After retiring from a long career playing professional baseball, Ed Easley knew he wasn't done with the game and he turned his attention to the up and coming players. Not only did Ed want to help develop young players on the field, but off the field as well. With all of his experience over the years, Ed knew he could make a difference. With this mindset, Easley Baseball Club was founded in May of 2017. Ed was able to assemble one of the most talented coaching staffs in the mid-south that are devoted to taking athletes game to the next level. EBC has grown substantially in just 2 years of business and is continuously striving to grow and improve.

 

Playing Career

2001-2004: Olive Branch High School Baseball 

2004: Mississippi Gatorade player of the year

2004: HS All-American 

2005-2007: Mississippi State Baseball

2007: All-American 

2007: Boo Ferris Award Winner (MS College Player of the Year)

2007: Johnny Bench Award Winner (Nations Top Catcher)

2007: 1st round draft pick by Arizona Diamondbacks

2010: Arizona Fall League Champion 

2014-2015: St. Louis Cardinals

2016: Pittsburgh Pirates

When Ed Easley retired from professional baseball in 2016 he wanted to give back to his community, thus Easley Baseball Club was born. EBC is Memphis's top baseball organization that is powered by an elite team of coaches and hardworking players. At EBC we aim to give every player with the tools they need to elevate their game to the next level. Not only do we want to help these athletes become better players, but to also help develop their character as they transition through life.
